Questions, answered
Short answers about our muslin, shipping and returns.
What is muslin?
Muslin is a light, breathable cotton cloth. Our blankets are made from four layers of 100% cotton muslin, pre-washed for a soft, crinkled, lived-in feel.
Where is it made?
Our pieces are made with partner mills in Denizli, Turkey. We design, select and quality-check every one of them ourselves.
Where does the name Laodera come from?
It is named for Laodicea, the ancient cloth city of the Lycus Valley outside Denizli. Say it lay-oh-DAIR-uh.
Will it shrink?
Muslin may shrink slightly on the first wash. Every piece is pre-washed, and our care guide tells you how to keep it soft.
